Friendly reminder that the government of Iran isn’t good. I’ve been noticing authoritarian, exploitive, and repressive regimes have really been trying to redeem their image on social media lately.
Call them weirdos and dorks. That’s the only thing that works. Stupid doesn’t work because they’re anti-intellectual. Unpatriotic doesn’t work because they have no faith in government or the populous. Evil doesn’t work because no one thinks they are actually evil. But Trump and his ilk will wilt at the the mention of weird. They don’t fit. They want so desperately to be cool and smart and strong. All you have to do is remind them that they are weak, ineffectual , and, most importantly to them, lame. The worst thing the DNC did was make Walz toe the line. He had them in his crosshairs. I can’t attack you for your morals and ethics because you have none, but I can point out that no one likes you because you are the weird dude at the party.

…but you can block them back. That’s literally exactly what the US is doing right now, and what several nations have done (or tried to do) to each other throughout history. It’s not necessarily a good idea, but you absolutely can do it.

He’s going to turn the United States Navy into a pirate ring. Or, at least that is what he’s threatening. We’ll see if he has the nerve to actually send our sailors to pursue, board, and capture vessels and their cargo on behalf of executive branch of the United States. My guess is that he will not go through with this.
