The Poznań track is closed by a decision of GIOŚ. The reason is said to be noise, despite the nearby airport right next to it. The facility was built in 1977 in a wasteland, residents from the protesting Przeźmierów settled there later.

Sucks major dick.
Ask me, it was kinda brilliant idea to build the track ADJACENT TO AIRPORT, since the noise’s already there.
Then, in astounding turn of events, people started building around one of the busiest airports AND THEN those settlers didn’t connect the dots that with airport around it’s not going to be quiet and cozy neighbourhood thus invalidating genius strategy of race track owners.
Same shit is happening at Laguna Seca I hear. Every rich prick wants to live next to a famous race track until they realise that racing is noisy business.

I find it interesting that this argument often comes up in similar situations. Is there some rule in Polish law that says if someone started first, they get preferential treatment?
Having a hobby in Poland is hard…
Street racing in 3… 2.. 1.

Just transform it to an EV only racetrack. Problem solved.
and then the same idiots that didn’t want the track are angry because people are racing in the streets xdd
