I am freaking out. I am not a particularly good developer and feel like I am not learning enough. I have no network and am terrified of losing my job and becoming destitute? Should I run away? What do I do? I have no one to ask these questions to.
Is it true that IT positions in Norway have fallen by 40 percent? What do I do?

There has been a 40% reduction of the *number* of *positions available in Norway*. As far as I know, there haven’t been any large reductions in workforce like what we see in the US. Running away probably won’t help.
This article is 6 months old. I haven’t seen it come true I think, there are still jobs like before.
However, it seems like companies aren’t growing as much in terms of developer team size, but rather hold out longer with the their existing team, just equipped with coding agents. I don’t have the numbers to back it, so it’s more of a feeling when looking at my own workplace and others I know in the industry.
Are you actually “not particularly good”? As in have you had review meetings/gotten direct feedback you aren’t delivering according to expectations?
Just saying I’ve met a lot of devs that sell themselves way short, and devs that think they’re gods gift to humankind. Both of their actual performance levels aren’t necessarily aligned with their self reflected level.
