Can anyone see this from where they are, and why does the sun looks like this?? It's really cool with the brown clouds and orange light.
Edit: Not located in Sydney (as in the city) – I'm in one of the Greater Western Sydney suburbs. It doesnt smell smoky at all

Its a bit hazy here at Parra but nothing like yours.
I’d guess that you don’t live far from any of the 6 hazard reduction burns going on in the northern suburbs at present, or the three down south near the shire and Campbelltown.
Sun is bright orange now where I am
It doesnt smell like smoke and has been steadily blowing in from the west, seems like dust maybe?
It’s caused by smoke from bush fires.
There’s quite a few backburns being done today around the outskirts of Sydney and in surrounding national parks. There’s 6 in the Blue Mountains alone, and more if you look to the north or south of the greater Sydney region.
Like this here too. Back burning and when I checked hazards website there was a fire in Rooty Hill as well but didn’t disclose anything about cause.
Yup! Saw it beaming also had to take a pic. https://imgur.com/ywv3Irw

Similar here in North Shore. Sunlight turned orange before being engulfed by the haze
