Trump on Truth announces a 10-day truce between Israel and Lebanon, then writes “Italy was not there for us, we will not be there for them” (in reference to the denied use of the Sigonella military base)

The truce has been in force since 11pm last night and so far it is holding up even if there are some skirmishes because the agreement with Lebanon provides for the Israeli army to remain in Lebanon, Hezbollah obviously does not agree and fires a few missiles at Israel. However, thanks to the fact that the IDF has surrounded the key city of Bint Jbeil, where there is the greatest resistance, there are no bombings and similar acts as in recent weeks.

Some absurdity in the usual post:

(It’s not like there was an alternative between authorizing use for kinetic purposes and not authorizing it, given that the request arrived while the plane was in flight and there were only a few hours left, and the request can only be granted by parliament, they couldn’t bring together 5-600 people in the middle of the night in 2 hours… the only possible action was not to vote, and obviously not be able to authorize its use. It seemed more like a test for the Americans’ Italy)
