I think the referendum might kill the PQs chances if the LPQ doesn’t shoot themselves in the foot before the election. Voters don’t seem really interested in another referendum.

2014 Part Deux vibes increase even more.

The PQ has a long history of making Quebec decide the only thing they would hate more than a PLQ Government is a PQ Government and referendum.

The PQ is obviously in a way better place than the last few cycles but they still may very well screw themselves over.

  3. I understand why some want separation, although I’m not a separatist myself, but the PQ can’t tell us with a straight face that this is our biggest existential crisis right now. The circus down the border, climate change, inflation, the upcoming AI disruption – they call for joint forces, not isolationism and a decade of custody fights.

PQ is at risk of being squeezed out of both Quebec City and Montreal, with the Liberals and Conservatives ahead big in both cities respectively.

If only the CAQ had kept their electoral reform promise, they would be a key player in the next National Assembly

Je vote pour le PLQ spécifiquement parce que ça me tante pas un référendum.
