    1. “Average” is a terrible way to measure salaries, a few huge outliers can greatly skew the numbers.

      Median is a far, far better metric.

    2. One year ago 1 us dollar = 140 Japanese yen. Now it’s 160. Looks like Tokyo’s -13% is solely caused by rates.

      The Danish one is false. They always include their pension in their salaries, which inflates the number.
