Well Germany already has exclusion zones, usually related to children like schools, playgrounds, parks and what not.

Do gun-free pedestrian zones in America have a chance?🤨

Forget about it, there almost no pedestrian zones.

Lots of German train stations are smoke free…. at least that’s what the signs say. Unfortunately, signs don’t do much to prevent people from smoking here. (It probably doesn’t help that the signs usually have ash trays attached to them.)

    5. Ironic that the streets are full of vehicles… Car exhausts, brake and tyre dust…

We already have a lot of smoke free zones but not even the police cares about them.

It sucks. These people literally make their drug problem everyone else’s problem.

In the next 10 years? Absolutely not lol

Look at any school that’s technically a no-smoking zone. The students smoke, the teachers smoke and some of the parents smoke while waiting for their kids. Or train stations. Smokers collectively realised that they can just not give a fuck and got away with it

    8. Jesus Christ, just let people smoke outside for fucks sake. Tired of this nanny state overreach.

It’s one of the few things I dislike about Germany. So much smoking everywhere. It ruins outdoor cafes for me when it’s nice out. I don’t want a mouthful of smoke every other bite. I love so much about this country but the attitude towards smoking ain’t it.

I smoke, and I don’t think theres anything more disrespectful than to smoke cigarettes/vapes in close proximity to others.

It won’t kill you to go away a few meters from people..
