I get that it’s important that we know what people’s perceptions are on a given subject, but I think it’s just as important we are given objective information about how well grounded that perception is in fact.

I’ve no doubt that Brexit is a major factor, but it won’t be the only one. Also, apart from the direct economic impact of Brexit, how much impact was there from the way Brexit dominated our politics for so long that actually running our country effectively was sidelined.

Who’s blaming chronic underfunding, waste, poor HR and outsourcing?

Well Brexit did see alot of staff who had emigrated to work in the NHS leave it. But let’s not be stupid it’s the Tories running it into the ground so they can sell if off and turn us into America.

Most of us aren’t stupid. The idea we both did extremely well with covid and at the same time being the only economy that hasn’t recovered makes no sense. Just go on holiday and you can see the stupidity of it all. We are fed up being told all the problems are due to covid or Ukraine, and we can’t criticise the incredibly economic sanctions we inflicted on ourselves

    5. Whichever one actually had more impact, Brexit was a deliberate choice that had known outcomes before we went and did it.

      repost surely?

      the actual list

      >Policies implemented by the UK Government

      >Rising costs of providing services due to inflation

      >Poor management within public sector organisations

      >Lack of staff

      >The effect of Brexit

      >The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic

      >Increased demand due to population changes such as an aging population

      >The impact of immigration

      >Policies implemented by local councils

The trifecta of austerity, Brexit and COVID all happening under the Tories can make it harder to attribute anything to one cause.
