  1. This is disturbing because the deep southern oceans are a huge sink of carbon, so disrupting them would escalate climate change even further.

    I’m currently transcribing an interview with some cilmate scientists, and apparently there’s a lot of issues with depression and mental health in the researchers who study this stuff. No wonder.
