Detecting AIDS just highlighted how cruel the GOP was.
If you are just going to let people die while blaming them for it, detection is a waste of money and a benefit for your opposition who gets to rightly point out how insane and evil you are being by not treating.
Weird, you’d almost think that because GOP rhetoric categorizes AIDS as a “gay disease” they’re ok with letting it run rampant and removing safety measures in the hopes that more gay people die.
