NBC News video of a knife attack at a UK synagogue earlier today.

Per NBC’s video, the U.K. police have declared a stabbing attack that injured two Jewish people in London a “terrorist incident.” A 45-year-old man with a history of mental health issues stabbed and seriously wounded two Jewish men in Golders Green, North London.

Back in October of last year, another man attacked a synagogue during the [Jewish holiday](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_holiday) of [Yom Kippur](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yom_Kippur). A man drove his vehicle into pedestrians before stabbing worshippers at the [Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heaton_Park_Hebrew_Congregation), a [synagogue](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synagogue) in [Higher Crumpsall](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crumpsall), a northern suburb of the city of [Manchester](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manchester) in [North West England](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_West_England). Three people were killed in the incident, including the attacker and a worshipper who were both shot dead by police. Three other people were injured and treated in hospital; one was hit by the car, one had a stab wound and the third was wounded by police gunfire. The incident was declared a terrorist attack later that day. The attacker, Jihad al-Shamie, was a 35-year-old [British citizen](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_citizen) born in Syria who lived nearby in [Prestwich](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prestwich).
