    In the media freedom index, Lithuania fell to 15th place, according to political pressure – to 24th place


    In this year’s Global Media Freedom Index published by Reporters Without Borders, Lithuania fell to 15th place. The country’s biggest drop is recorded in the political category – considering only politicians’ pressure on the media and proposed reforms, Lithuania is in 24th place. The LRT.lt expert of “Reporters without Borders” emphasizes: it seems that the Lithuanian authorities care more about the interests of their own party than the public’s interest in having a free media.

      Jo, bet svarbu, kad LRT būtų neutrali. Ar tu esi plokščiažemis, ar tu esi NASA mokslininkas, abi nuomonės yra tolygiai svarbios ir privalo gauti tiek pat eterio ir finansavimo!

      Sakyčiau kiek clickbaitinė antraštė, pernai buvom 14 vietoj (iš 180), tai tą kritimą per 1/180 galėjo kontekstui ir paminėt tiems, kurie nesivargina straipsnio skaityt.
