I’m not sure we should be rewarding police offers with new homes for running over cattle; it’s only going to encourage the behaviour.

    2. This is what the cow was planning all along ,jump a fence ,ram a few cars ,get rammed by a car and it’s sunshine daisy’s n rolling hills for life ,it comes to something when cows are getting police compo

Can I get a new home and idyllic life if I convince a policeman to run me over?

*”Even those who are not vegetarians or vegans, they will want that cow to be rehomed”*

Why would we want her to be rehomed? I want her to be hurt again so i can eat her thank you very much.

    5. They won’t release the calf, simply because it will set a precedent.

I remember a few years ago there was incident where a lorry carrying pigs destined to be slaughtered for Waitrose pork stock overturned on the road. There were live pigs running around on the road, injured and unharmed alike. Animal rights activists and sanctuary owners rushed to the scene and begged for the pigs to be released into their care where they could provide them stimulating, safe, comfortable environments to live out the rest of their natural lives. Instead the decision was made to kill them all. They were considered to be “contaminated”.

The same will happen with this calf. They don’t want the general public getting any ideas about the possibility of mercy existing within the animal agricultural industry. When you’re born as a pig, cow, chicken or sheep in this country, you’re simply product.
