I was at the Eremitage in Bayreuth on Sunday.
The place honestly surprised me.
There are long paths everywhere, buildings, statues and many small details between the trees and gardens.
What I especially liked were the paths there.
Many of them feel almost romantic and very harmonious. You just walk slowly through the area and constantly discover new perspectives and small corners.
The atmosphere there was also incredibly calm and pleasant.
What places in Germany have the most beautiful atmosphere for you?

In an urban setting, our old towns. Especially in southern Germany.
But much more than that, the places with less human settlement over all. our forests, and lakes. at least the lakes in more rural regions, where they’re more untouched.
This place is under rated, been a couple times and enjoyed it everytime
I thought it is overrated
Just a couple of walk ways with nice flours and a few old houses. It did not impress me but I don´t like such sites anyways. It´s often boring for me.
I like the Orangerie at Schloss Seehof in Memmelsdorf. That’s close to Bamberg, which itself is a whole nother story.
There is….many. Check out Linderhof eg.
