Makes sense that a narcissistic tyrant who started a stupid invasion, and is now stuck in the tarpit, desperate for a way out to save himself… starts to act less like an omnipotent god throwing out threats and a little more like a diplomat.

.. Sorry I got confused whether we were talking about Putin or about Trump. They blend.

Putin in 2022: “This illegitimate nazi kiev regime has to stop”
Putin in 2026: “If Ukrainian President Mr. Zelensky would like to meet, we won’t be opposed to it”

Imagine the relief Putin must have felt when he finally got back down to his isolation bunker, safe and sound.

      Do you feel powerful, Vlad?

Let’s be honest. Releasing the money from Hungary plays a big role here. Putin hoped to starve them but suddenly they got a good backing.

    5. Now might be a good time to make your demands, and if they don’t meet them 100%, double down on attacking their energy infrastructure.

Dont believe Putin. Its all internal public relations talk now people start feeling the burden of the war. This was not ment for anybody else, he will continue with his 3 day operations as before.

    7. Somewhat misleading headline. The “negotiations” mentioneed are referring to a potential prisoner swap, not a cessation to hostilities.

I believe that securing enough agricultural territory to become food production independent is Russia’s main priority. Any offered terms of surrender that do not align with this are going to be ineffective.

Relying on foreign nations for food stability is an existential national security issue. Especially so for a country with few allies and little to no global goodwill like Russia. All the propaganda and copium that the internet can fabricate won’t change that fact.

    8. Putin needs the war with Ukraine to end so he can focus his attention on Armenia.

    9. I don’t understand this new tactic of taunting to negotiate. USA and Iran are doing that also.

    10. I wonder if Putin is beginning to realize that a hungry China might start taking bites out of Russia.

I wish nothing but the best for this man after the war. I hope he gets to retire seeing his country and people prosper.
