    1. People dumb enough to have fallen for this won’t be surprised, they must get taken for a ride almost weekly. Getting scammed out of money must be like paying the bills to them.

The grift. The broken promises. The shameless monetization of the president’s name. The conflicts of interest. The embarrassment.

I don’t know even know where to start with this.

I’m sure this is circulating on the conservative thread /s

They rarely post ANYTHING Trump does (because even they know it’s gotten to a beyond crazy point).

The phone, which was originally advertised as being made in America, will now be “designed with American values in mind,” the [website](http://trumpmobile.com/about) states. While the Trump phone remains unreleased, Trump Mobile is selling refurbished [Samsung](https://fortune.com/company/samsung-electronics/) phones and iPhones that connect to its network and its so-called 47 Plan—a $47.45-per-month service that pays homage to Trump’s distinction as both the 45th and 47th president.

    5. Man. Its almost like we had decades of proof that he scams people and can’t be trusted.

A lot of Americans are perpetual stove touchers.

They won’t stop touching the stove and will never learn.

Yes, his followers are this stupid. They will continue to be this stupid. It should surprise nobody.

The only people dumber than Donald Trump are his supporters.

You fell for it again dipshits.

They will show up around the same time as the shoes…. and the watch…

I’m sure those bootlickers will find a way to
Blame it on Biden or Hillary’s emails.

But the real question is why would you even pledge your hard earned money to someone who arguably has what might be considered the cleanest track record of grift in history.

I would be so owned if conservatives all decided to put down a deposit for a Trump phone to show their loyalty.

Like, I would be so sad I think I might cry. Please, please don’t ruin my day conservatives by all buying a Trump phone. I can’t begin to tell you how owned I would be.

Anyone who gives money to any Trump entity deserves exactly what they get.

    13. You would think Trump’s supporters would, at some point, get tired of him stealing their money, but they keep coming back for more

    14. redditobserverone on

He has an addiction to the belief that he is a serial entrepreneur and an addiction to hoarding money. He doesn’t need it and he is never going to catch up with the richest people on earth right now but he keeps trying. Gold sneakers, NFTs…. Grifters gotta grift because this next one could be the Big Payoff.

    15. Well at least we still have our Trump watches, where Trumps name is somehow spelt wrong.

    16. Worth-Tank336 on

Not only is Trump a grifter, but he’s notorious for putting his name on products that is ran by scammers.

    17. see the article posted yesterday about him going to check on gold because its not safe

    18. sometimes i think i should dump all my morals and ethics and become a scam artist. MAGA are so fucking dumb, it’s like shooting fish in a bucket.

    19. clintgreasewoood on

I just don’t understand the need for him to continue these small scams like phones, commemorative plates, sneakers, when he is making so much more money in market manipulation, foreign bribes, crypto scams and self dealing.

    20. Sword-of-Akasha on

I’m torn between happy that these fools got fleeced but angry that Trump benefits.

I’m also torn when Trump hurts his supporters… because innocent people are often the collateral damage.

    21. He’ll make the tax payer pay for it. Just write it off on your income tax for credit. Photo shop receipt is accepted. Spelling errors for extra points.

If you and I scammed people the same way, we’d probably get prison time. For orangeman it’s just another tuesday. No accountability, no consequences. Again and again and again.

“Purchasers like tech content creator Carter Ryan, who goes by CarterPCs online, were quick to call out the company’s vague language.”

Carter Ryan is an idiot. Don’t be like Carter.

I guarantee they took the money from the deposits and put it on some Kalshi bet they had some insider information on and made way more money off of it than they received and then when they eventually say they aren’t making the phones anymore, they’ll issue out the refunds.

    25. Democrats should really start grifting the right that blatantly and use the money to finance the opposition

    26. They are just so thoughtful, not refunding more for not producing a phone you collected about 60 million dollars for definitely isn’t fraudulent in any way whatsoever except if you apply the definition of fraud to this particular instance.

    27. infamusforever223 on

And they would still give him more money and vote for him again if given the chance.

    28. shadowdra126 on

I don’t feel bad for anyone who bought this and got scammed

You proved yourself an idiot and an easy mark.

    29. WhenTheDevilCome on

Trump is probably very angry about this…

…for why his team would waste effort on a $100/person scam, instead of the $1000/person crypto scams…

I’m no lawyer but I did take two semesters of business law and it should theoretically be an instant win in arbitration or in a class action. Two elements appear missing for this to be a valid contract, consideration and a meeting of the minds. Since Trump’s not obligated to deliver anything consideration is out the window, and since Trump got to rewrite the contract without the other party agreeing or having a say, meeting of the minds is out too.

That said I’m sure Trump’s very skilled at blowing smoke, kicking up sand and dragging out any settlement. It took years for Trump University to work its way through.
