This clown show would be hilarious if people didn’t want them to run the country.

So much for Farage’s promise that only “fit and proper people” will be allowed to stand but then again, posting on social media about bombing Mecca is probably “proper” for the average Reform member.

Problem with suspensions is they don’t mean anything. They sit as “independent” voting with the party and many of them (including the incredibly racist) are allowed back once the storm blows over

    4. Thats over 10 councillors who either: didnt exist, thought they were to be MPs so quit, or have been suspended for being exposed as racists.
Its barely been a week 🫩

Did think the Leopards would begin eating the faces this quickly…

    6. Who’d have thought a ~~Limited company~~ political party chocked full of horrible, nasty, bigoted people would turn out to be full of horrible, nasty, bigoted people. Colour me shocked.

The party that wants to reform the country can’t even reform its own councillors.

    8. Just checked the Sky news app and surprisingly no mention of this story appears.. it’s almost like they don’t want you to know but you can’t get away from Starmers issues on there..

While under normal circumstances this would be bigger news, I feel like Labour’s current meltdown is overshadowing this and is what will be remembered by voters at GE

    10. Wow, I was quite optimistic thinking it was going to be one of the other dozen or so open racists but no, just “not respecting the democratic process”. Shows where their priorities really are.

Hilarious how this comes up after every local election.

People that vote for Reform party, are you starting to see the issue?

    12. Minister0fSillyWalks on

Sadly the state the country is in most people that voted reform won’t have a issue with the posts and probably agree with them so won’t care.

They are even defending the convicted domestic child abuser that won the seat in my area.

Protecting women and kids only applies when then perpetrator isn’t white.

    13. Reform are all as dodgy AF, with Farage being the poster guy for extreme dodginess, getting millions in bungs in crypto currency so the donor can’t be traced. Yeah, that seems totally legit… -_-

    14. blamordeganis on

Four in four days. At that rate, by the time this set of councils has its next election, Reform will have lost every seat they’ve just won.

“It comes after Plymouth City Councillor Ben Rowe was also suspended on Monday for sharing a post on social media depicting a bomb being dropped on Mecca, has been suspended from the party just days after winning a seat on Plymouth City Council.”

Another candidate they refused to suspend before the election.

    16. > Writing in a statement, he said: “I’m done staying quiet” alleging other councillors had sent “threatening messages” in a WhatsApp group he has since been removed from.

      >”Following the appointment of Alan Amos as group leader, I’ve received screenshots from a WhatsApp group I’ve now been excluded from which are threatening messages towards myself, simply because I refused to support views that are completely incompatible with Reform and the people we represent.”

I wonder what views they refused to support. Were the views too far right or too far left?

    17. HeftyVermicelli7823 on

And the mainstream media is covering all this to say how unstable they are right?….Right?

    18. Crowdfunder101 on

      “Other councillors sent threatening messages”

Wonder what they might have been: “stop saying racist shit or we’ll tell everyone”

    19. pajamakitten on

Private Eye is going to have a bumper issue at this rate.

Seriously, Reform voters of this sub: justify this circus for the rest of us. How is this a serious party that should be running local councils?

    20. sweepernosweeping on

How could Starmer do this? Sturgeon must condemn! Truss Out!

Not ar’ Nige though, salt ‘th earth.

My Reform councillor in Sheldon, Birmingham is well known for leaving pervy comments on young women’s photos on social media. Has anyone found a decent Reform member yet?

    22. This kind of thing also went on in the Brexit Party and UKIP under Farage. It’s fairly obvious now he’s not good at building organisations up, he’s far more of a solo act.

    23. You’d think this kind of stuff would be sending off red flags to any one with 2 brain cells but as America has proven they could do absolutely anything and still end up getting put in charge of the country.
