i always say there are three types of republicans
1) billionaires
2) bigots
3) braindead
There are some millionaires in there too. My family, who are all well off and educated, support him. They’re religiously indoctrinated, so they have authoritarian proclivities.
Don’t forget #3: Assholes. Though I admit there’s some crossover.
Don’t have to be a billionaire. There are plenty of millionaires and well-off people willing to turn a blind eye to the evils because their stocks are going up. There’s a word for people willing to put up with horrible things for money.
