It’s already the last day of the week for me, that was a short one.
On the plus side I met the #trainbow in Nivelles this morning. I guess he’ll be running the S1 line (omnibus to Antwerp-Central) later today. Or the S9 to Landen.
Who’s working still this week? Happy to do so or not and why?

Today we’ve got the news that Infrabel wants to close three rail crossings over 5 kilometers near Leuze.
One of them is a particularly complex 5-ways intersection, of which 4 major ways for cars (the N7 to Tournai, the N7 to Ath, a major street to the village of Pipaix, a major street to the center of Leuze) and 1 important way for bicycles (local traffic only path to the train station). Obviously, this is causing a lot of outrage. We speak of a “bridge and tunnel”, but I obviously cannot see the details as you must pay for the newspaper to see. I’ll have to ask the Bourgmestre and hope he knows.
Another is a major road between that same village of Pipaix and the N7, but the suggested alternative is to build a bridge in the middle of fields currently used for a bio goat farm. Actually taking over half its land. That’s obviously not ideal.
Well, I guess I need to try to work on a solution, as part of the council in mobility. But frankly, so far, the only way I see is to elevate the entire train track, which is going to be a ridiculous budget. I just don’t see a good solution?
Starting the four-day weekendshift tomorrow. 48 hours in 4 nights. I hate holidays.
