      One landed in my back yard area in Wicklow last week, near Avoca. Pretty sure I heard it flapping in the trees behind property a week earlier because of how loud the wing whooshing was.

      Aspen is just looking for an affordable place to live. I think he might fuck off back to Scotland.

      Edit: I have a bit of land above Roundwood in Wickla’. Since the increase of the Red Kites and buzzards in Wicklow, the population of meadow Pippits has gone down to zero on my boggy field. I miss them, as they were such a delight to see.

      Was very lucky to be at some of the releases of these magnificent birds over the past few years. So glad to see them thrive. Big hat tip to the teams behind the releases.
