Senate voted on May 12: 51-45 and confirmed kevin warsh as the new chairman of federal reserve, plus advancing his nomination for the 4-year chair turn.

Well, Powell will say a long goodbye on may 15. What do you think of the impact on the overall crypto markets? There is some really good news coming from the industry lately. First mastercard partnership with big crypto companies and now we have pro crypto guy in the office

He isn’t a pro-crypto guy. He’s a Trump guy. He will be a pro-crypto guy if it means lining Daddy Trump’s pockets.

Powell was one of the last figures with power who didn’t back down from Trump’s cohorts. I am worried about overall markets moving forward across the board.

    2. My understanding is his entire role is to cut interest rates at trump’s demand, which is very likely to massively fuck up the US economy. But yeah I’m sure he’ll be great for crypto and that’s the important thing.

    3. When will people learn that “pro crypto” in the trump regime really means “pro lining the pockets of trump associates using crypto”?

    4. Don’t believe the hype. This is, like the regime itself, net bad for crypto.

Crypto bros are never beating the allegations.

    6. A sycophant as the chair will be disastrous.

      Full economic collapse in 5…4…3…2…1

Crypto media and crypto bros are so blatantly MAGA. They’re all praying for an orange savior to moon their bags

    8. By pro crypto you mean going to send us into an inflationary spiral potentially collapsing the price of crypto to increase

    9. I’m in crypto for nearly 15 years, and when Trump embraced crypto, it was the first time I seriously considered selling. Too shady, and that means something in this space.

Even this literal crypto sub agrees how bad this is..

    10. Oh good.

Just like how we have a “pro crypto” president

I can’t afford to win this hard

At this point being pro crypto doesn’t mean much since he’s also a Trump “yes man”

    12. You have to respect Jerome Powell. Does not give in to Trump, trying to artificially control interest rates by pressuring what should be an independent body of experts. Just so that him and his buddies can borrow cheaply even if fucks up the economy.

I hope there are enough good people in the administration that don’t give in to pressure.

    13. He was appointed by the orange shitbag, this won’t be good for anyone but the already rich.

These post’s here are made by degenerates, believing in the same shit over and over again. It’s just to get ripped off.

Powell is staying on as a fed governor so we’re not totally fucked, hopefully. Jpow is one of the only politicians with a spine

You gotta have those blinders on pretty tight to see this as a positive. Hey, look at everything else going to shit, but my digital asset bags might get a little lighter…

    17. yeah. pro-crypto.. totally has the consumer in mind… “tHeRE iS sOMe rEaLLy gOoD nEWs cOMiNg fRoM tHe inDusTRy LaTelY” we are literally melting our society and draining resources get your head out of the grift for a moment OP

    18. Won’t fucking matter when he pushes forward every rate cut Trump demands, and our economy tanks.
