The longer this goes on the more sympathetic I feel for him. I DONT like him and DONT agree with almost anything he’s done as primeminister. But He’s paying the price for 14 years of Tory rule where he’s only been in power for 2 years and chancellor for a few. Now the public are taking out over a decade of frustration out on him

    2. I don’t like Sunak, and hope the Conservatives get voted out on 4th July (although it seems like a foregone conclusion at this point), but this seems like very much of a non-story.

      >The PM was then asked by the presenter: “How many points out of 10 would you give your campaign so far?”

      >The politician audibly lost his cool, as his tone reached a higher pitch. “I’m not interested in those types of things, the poll that matters is on July 4th.” Ferrari pressed: “No I’m asking point out of 10 for the campaign, would you give it 9 out of 10?”

Really, is this worth an article?

    3. He deserves no sympathy whatsoever. He wanted the job and it is his problem that he is unutterably awful at it.

Whilst the Tories have been rubbish for a long time, Their real descent into chaos has come whilst he has been in Government.

His total inability to engage with the public is on full display here. He doesn’t care one iota for their problems, nor take any responsibility for them. He’s only there to tell everyone else that they are wrong and that is their fault not his.

He is a quite simply terrible Politician. A good one can walk into a room where everyone hates them and walk out with everyone loving them. He has no ability to empathise nor any ability to even just listen. It is all about him and his ego. He truly thinks we should all just be grateful to him.

Hardly ‘loses his cool’, the Mirror keep doing this – hyperbolic statement about how badly Rishi has messed up an interview when it’s pretty tame overall.

2 callers responded to his answers on housing and the NHS by calling him a liar!

And this is on Farrari’s show, who is more right wing than Sunak.

I don’t like Sunak bur it was hardly a car crash. Absolutely baiting headline for a term which is being overused.

Prince Andrew was a bloody car crash, this went pretty much as anyone would imagine.

    7. As expected from the Mirror – Sunak doesn’t lose his cool and it wasn’t a car crash –

If you want the facts you can listen to it here –

*In an hour-long session answering questions from LBC listeners, the Conservative leader:*

*Insisted he was “energised” despite the polls*

*Said “of course” he will serve for a full parliament as Richmond and Northallerton’s MP if the Tories lose the General Election*

*Brushed off Phones4U founder John Caudwell and Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe abandoning the Tories by saying they “can afford Labour’s tax rises”*

*Claimed his daughters are looking forward to doing National Service*

*Refused to give his election campaign a mark out of 10*

To be fair the only good thing he’s done in his tenure in politics was that eat out to help out scheme, other than that he deserves to be scrutinised. He’ll be in California the day after election I’m sure.

This is The Mirror, so it was probably just a normal interview that they’ve chosen to editorialise.

      This headline is bullshit.

A woman called in and asked a dumb, loaded question and Sunak CALMLY tried not to say “what a dumb fucking question to ask.”

He actually handled it well, “that doesn’t matter – this does” is a good way to handle bullshit questions.

While the presenter kept poking and poking him to try to get a soundbite.
