as a woman here, I would consider it too and wouldn’t mind. wouldn’t say he’s less likely to cheat though

In reality men with no other dating experience are more likely to cheat when they get the chance because they think they missed out on experiences or think they can “do better”. People who believe these things just want a comfortable partner they can look down on. 「どうせ他の人にモテないから笑 」 kind of mindset.
I think Chris Rock said it best: “a man is as faithful as his options.”
This is especially true of dudes that have never dated. How would they react if they were provided with Option #2 all of a sudden?
If a survey for men came with the same conclusion, reactions would be different.

Men in Japan without dating experience usually have soap land experience. Just saying.
Though for the question “What kind of an impression do you have of a man with no dating experience?”, it says “Can’t say either” at 57.1%, “somewhat of a bad impression” at 23.5%, “somewhat of a good impression” at 14.7%, “a very bad impression” at 3.5%, and “a very good impression” at 1.2%.
