Turning Point USA (TPUSA) canceled an event scheduled at the University of Washington (UW) after detransition activist and speaker Chloe Cole allegedly received threats in the days leading up to her appearance and following the death of a transgender student on Sunday.
Cole told Fox News, “There were local Antifa groups that were actually scheduling these large-scale protests, and there were so many people who I saw online, just out in the open, who were saying things like, ‘I hope you get Kirked.’” The phrase is in reference to TPUSA’s former leader, Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated while speaking at Utah Valley University last fall.
Cole has pledged to reschedule the event, details of which have not yet been made public.
Oh, I’m just SURE that’s why they canceled it. Absolutely! Yep, yep.

So lack of ticket sales had nothing to do with it

And I’m sure they have turned over evidence of this threat to law enforcement officials, right? Actual evidence of the threat?

I’m surprised they didn’t blame Obama.

Just for obvious reasons I have to point out that *wishing* death and harm on someone, while not nice, is not a death threat.
Besides, it is kinda a blessing if you think about it. “May you die unexpectedly and quickly while having a truly memorable and ironic death”. I mean, we all have to go and that is one of the better ways.

Most likely not enough people bought tickets so they made up an excuse

Dump calling antifa a “terrorist group” and a “disaster” in the same breath is hilarious to me. Would you call ISIS a “disaster”? Hezbollah? It’s what you call a bad date and why only the dumbest of his supporters take this seriously.

Sounds really, really, plausible…. On the bright side, they won’t have to refund anyone.

I thought maybe they would take it as a compliment as they believe Charlie Kirk won every debate, therefore getting “Kirked” should mean winning all arguments?
Like, “Ah man! I’m so Kirked up this weekend! Friday’s test was all aces! Didn’t *even* have to study because *it’s ALL right here!!” gesturing to your forehead with both hands.
/s (obviously, as Antifa *only* makes threats, which should always be taken seriously with a grain of salt.)

Threats from an organization that doesn’t exist. Got it.
