They also closed the Helsinki-Vantaa airport entirely.
Several flight have been diverted to other airports. Tallinn, Stockholm even Rovaniemi are acting as proxy for Helsinki-Vantaa.
Jeez, just checked YLE and still no info what exactly going on.
The airport PA says flights are currently delayed. I can say it’s my luck to have this when I use the airport for the first time in years because I have to travel to my home country on a short notice for a funeral.
As of now, departures are still delayed, and uniformed men are patrolling the airport. There are also no arrivals in the past 3 hrs or so.
