    1. We bring the law and justice to everyone except our own executive branch.

      Go go world police!

    2. You know, if people had voted for Kamala Harris, we would have had a war with Iran. /s

The U.S. is taking steps to indict Raúl Castro, the 94-year-old former president of Cuba and brother of Fidel, in connection with the downing of planes 30 years ago, according to U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

The potential indictment — which would need to be approved by a grand jury — is expected to focus on Cuba’s deadly 1996 shootdown of planes operated by humanitarian group Brothers to the Rescue.

Brothers to the Rescue was  CIA front.
And the founder testified in court he worked for the CIA.

Looks like the Admin is looking for any reason to start trouble anywhere

Regime change under the guise of a ham sandwhich indictment. Which is INSANE considering the US believes its above any war crime indictments by the ICC.

    5. Like, indict by what law? We don’t participate in any body of international court, and our laws don’t apply to…Oh wait…

      We’re just corrupt like that.

    6. America, the world is laughing at you…just a fucking joke of an administration.

Going after a geriatric former leader of a country on the brink of collapse isn’t the strength flex the US think it is.

    8. If non citizens are subject to US laws just the same way citizens are then should also have the same rights as citizens as well.

I knew it. That nick shirley fuck was posting that they’re holding him hostage or something like that. I’ve been saying that they are laying the ground work propaganda for MAGA to be on board with some Cuban fuckery.

    10. This is so they can justify sending military in the take him, isn’t it? I think it was Rubio who used the excuse that Maduro was convicted by us courts

Hmm….kind of similar to the extrajudicial shooting of boats in the Gulf of Mexico.

    12. Since when did unilaterally indicting foreign leaders become a thing, and can it please not be a thing?

Remember when people said Obama couldn’t shut down gitmo, because he was only the commander in chief? Now we have a usurper in power and he’s using that power for revenge against slights, real and imagined.

So what will Trump do? Invade Cuba, kidnap Raul Castro, and bring him to the U.S. too, just like they did with Maduro and his wife when they invaded Venezuela and kidnapped them both, and put them in prison?

We won’t lift our sanctions, though. These poor people, they now have no oil for cooling and no light or heat or AC, yet we’ve made it illegal for the international courts to indict any US legislator, (even Interpol)!

The irony is, they have universal healthcare for Cubans and incredible world class volunteer medical corps and doctors in emergencies in spite of our crippling decades of sanctions.

The day China is taking over Taiwan will happen during Trump’s presidency. America will have no moral authority to stop them.

But, aren’t presidents allowed to do illegal things? I seem to remember there being some noice about that a while ago.

What are the charges? That he’s the leader of a smaller country that Donny doesn’t like?

Ah, so there’s the justification for when they invade. Got it. Man I hate what my country has become
