Id have thought there would be massive applause for this, great border control.
Incredibly, can’t stop anybody without a passport but suddenly “freedom of speech” is subject to a passport.
It’s worrying that they’re not criminals and wish to express political views but because they don’t align with those of the leadership, they cannot enter the country. It’s a direct stifling of speech without anyone having committed a hate crime or having done anything criminal. It is undemocratic.
Ah, no border security for potential new voters but only for political opponents.
Khan and kier are praying someone kicks off so they can control the narrative and give the plod a reason to arrest people. Hes basically calling everyone racist again.
I’m very uncomfortable with this goverment banning people from entering purely because of their political views, for this legal rally tomorrow, especially if they haven’t committed crimes. That feels difficult to reconcile with the UK’s stated support for freedom of speech and movement.
(Im not supporting or against the rally) im completely neutral here
I approve of this but it does come with the side effect that these people are being more publicised than if they’d been allowed in and been at the rally.
What a joke. Ban legitimate speakers but leave the door open for rapists and murderers. Some free speech.

Extremely interesting how people hate foreign propagandists influencing the voting populace of this country on social media, etc, but the act of blocking them from coming here to do it in person makes some people uncomfortable

Can’t argue if they are literally inciting violence, but this seems to be another clear case of 2 tier Britain considering ahmed al fattah, who fantasised about using nuclear weapons on white people was welcomed into the country with open arms by Starmer, as a “top priority” for his government.
From the article, el fattah’s extreme and racially-violent fantasies and outpourings targeting the British, police, white people etc seem far, FAR worse and a more obvious clear and present danger to native Brits. Especially given that native Brits are by orders of magnitude more likely to be on the receiving end of racially and religiously motivated hate / terror killings than dishing them out.
Strange case of extreme and dangerous double standards. Expected from Starmer and Labour though.
