It still blows my mind how normalised this dramatic shift in US foreign policy has become. It truly is the end of an era
Taiwan being cooked without US is already a foreseable outcome. I just hope there will be a solution without bloodshed and loss of freedom for Taiwan.
Isn’t it obvious? Trump gave up Taiwan in exchange for China getting Iran oil and signing off on a US invasion of Iran.
Lmao Republicans for China but jokes aside, this has been the status quo. They don’t recognize Taiwan, and maintain ambiguity on purpose.
