So wait, this tribunal cannot try Putin in absentia as long as he is in office because he has immunity, same as other top ranking Russian officials. But Putin will never leave office, nor can he ever be brought to the court, therefore they can never try Putin.

With all the talk about justice and accountability, how is this entire thing not just farcical then? You are convening a tribunal to prosecute people who has immunity and cannot be tried and will likely never be.

So long as Putin stay hunkered down in Russia and travel only to country that is safe for him, he will be above the law and likely die unpunished.

When even Switzerland joins support for an international tribunal you should be able to see the writing on the wall.

    5. Yeah, this is meaningless unless you actually plan to arrest and prosecute him.

    6. This seems like a bunch of hot air. How are they going to prosecute Putin? What’s their plan??

Oh great, now 36 countries can show that absolutely nothing will happen to Vladimir Putin! It’s wild that none of these guys ever get held accountable

🤣🤣🤣 communists don’t care about your UN or rules of convention
Is this some sort of joke?

Great job. Maybe if you idiots didn’t buy his oil for 2 decades he wouldn’t have had the money to fund all these atrocities.

Pat yourself on the back Europe, you assholes caused this.

Like the current regime in the US, this should have been done years ago. Bet nothing comes of it tho. Just like the US. No one has the sacks to arrest him. And he knows it.

    11. Oh! Can we di more after this one? I’m sure we can come up with a list pretty quick.

😂😂😂😂😂 Fortunately for these 36 countries, ridicule is not fatal, is Germany, with Merz Blackrock and Ursula Hyena, leading the pack?

    13. Amlethvshamlet on

Ah yes prosecuting someone with no ability to compel them with force is surely effective! I am going to prosecute Putin too!

    14. At the end of the day it means nothing in reality though unless we do it with military intervention lets be honest.

    15. So, is this it? Are we on the literal edge of war? I can’t imagine he’s just gonna sit there and let them arrest him.
