    1. it’s bit confusing in the beginning they say that data doesn’t include citizenship by descent, but a bit later mentioned many of citizenships were via Karta Polaka. It’s a bit controrary since karta polaka is via polish descent

Eirher way good news, to bad they want make it harder. It’s already a ridiculous process

Which is definitely concerning because Poland gives citizenship way too easily.

However, the root problem is the amount and scale of immigration itself. Too much and too fast.

To make it worse, soon Poland will have to accept more people under the relocation pact.

I hope the citizenship rules will get more harsh by then, but that will be the least of our problems.

Edit: I was informed by several people that the cumulative time needed to actually obtain Polish citizenship is much longer I was aware of and is about 8 to 10 years. Except special circumstances and marriages, of course.

**I still believe that Poland gives citizenship way too easily**. I’m just happy it takes so long.

I am extremely happy for my mistake. I apologise for my mistake, of course and for the confusion it may have caused.

    3. It’s slightly misleading: less than 20000 people got the citizenship in 2025. It was about 16000 before. Yeah, it’s 25%, but still we’re talking about thousands. Gosh, PiS and other conservatives use such percentages to frighten voters.

    4. To all imigrants please naturalise we welcome you. Do not listen to the right wing yapping it is just to scare dumb people that never met/talked to people from other country. Smart people know that you are very valuable to us.

Well I think that citizenship should not be easy to get. It is a privilege to get it and it shouldnt be some participation trophy.

Well done Poland, keep it hard so only people who actually learn Polish, integrate and show loyalty get it.
Fast citizenship will only create parallel societies and welfare tourists (see Western Europe)

Poland should stay selective. We already have Karta Polaka for those with real ties. Everyone else needs to earn it properly.
