Curious what’s your data source? It does omit the huge numbers of Azeri “yayla” summer camps in the highlands, as well as the Doukhobor villages (although there are not many Doukhobors left). As well, there are some highland villages west of Vardzia which are permanently inhabited. They were originally Ahiskas (Meskhetian Turkish) but Stalin deported the Ahiskas and forced a large number of Khevsur families to move there, where they are still today. I also noticed in your Ossetia map that the Ossetian villages in the upper Truso valley were omitted.
