More details emerge about the Tokyo elementary school teacher arrested for rubbing his “lower body” against a 9-year-old girl’s water bottle mouthpiece: he had been known to do this kind of thing for 17 years, and the boys at his school called him “Echi-Echi Sensei”. Parents are furious.

It’s always the guy you most suspect, known in the whole prefecture for being a perv for 20 years and multiple reports to the police. But hey, what can you do ?

OP always put inaccurate titles to induce comments I suspect.

      * During the investigation, he admitted that he had been secretly filming since he started working 17 years ago.
      * One guardian said that at a previous school where the suspect worked from 2020 to 2023, some male students called him by the nickname ‘Echi-Echi Sensei’ (perverted teacher) because he was intense with physical contact, such as hugging. The guardian also heard that there was a time the suspect “accidentally” walked into the girls’ changing room. On the other hand, he would yell at the boys he disliked and completely ignore certain girls; his attitude differed entirely depending on the child.
      * In Minato Ward, in the school he worked in 2020-2023 , there is a summer camp called ‘Kageki Gakuen’ for fifth-grade elementary school students. Mr. Wakamatsu participated as a chaperone even for grade levels he didn’t personally teach. During the camp, teachers would patrol the rooms at night, and the children reportedly pretended to be asleep so they wouldn’t get caught staying up late. It was during these times that Mr. Wakamatsu was said to be taking photos of the children’s face while they slept. While some of the girls felt it was ‘creepy,’ other children at the time didn’t fully understand why he was taking the pictures. However, the rumor that ‘Mr. Wakamatsu was taking photos of us sleeping’ was shared among the children.
