Ever wondered how much a pint costs across the continent? Using the latest crowdsourced data, I’ve mapped the cost of a 0.5L domestic draft beer in European capitals.
The results show a massive "Beer Wall" splitting the continent. From the extreme affordability of Eastern Europe to the record-breaking prices in the North, the gap is nearly 10x between the cheapest and most expensive pint.

It would be also good to see the PPP for beers.
Something tells me that the people in Russia walking to the community well for a bucket of water are not paying 4.70€ for a beer.

4,5€ Euro in Warsaw is around same as 12€ in London or 18€ in Norway
I have never paid less than 7.80 euro for a beer in the Hague/Amsterdam/Rotterdam area. Especially for a draft beer that is 0.5l, I can agree with the price if it was for a small beer.
7€ in paris will get you a pint of piss, not beer.

Just paid €2.90 in a touristy bar in Pafos, Cyprus for Keo. Sometimes it’s been as cheap as 2.59 for a 600ml bottle. Fuck, I love this island.

I just went to a craft brewery, in the Deep US South, and paid the equivalent of €5,15 for a half liter at a German style brewhouse. If anyone is curious for a data point in other parts of the world.
I went on vacation long ago through some of Europe. The beer choice and cost going from Belgium to Denmark was crazy. Belgium had tons of great options for cheap. Denmark had crap options and was very expensive.
Belgium and the Netherlands should have the same colour if the price is the same…

I refuse to believe that Greece is higher than Germany. Every place I’ve been to this month was 4 euros or less

Being in Poland, it is insane we are equal with Germany when we used to be similar price as Slovakia for a really, really long time
Norway and Sweden price differential is like VT and NH. Worth crossing borders for the savings.
