    1. >Philadelphia police have broad authority to revoke gun licenses, including for failing to properly secure their weapons, associating with people convicted of felonies, or — in the group’s case — for “good cause,” per city correspondence obtained by Axios.

Ah, the “good cause” being that they’re

    2. But it’s cool for maga white folks to commit an armed takeover of government buildings like they did in Michigan during covid and don’t even get a warning. This on top of the other terrorist level shit they have been doing in just the last couple years alone like breaking into the capital with the clear intent to murder the vp and all democrats (literally chanting it), bringing their guns to protests to intimidate and threaten, plot to kidnap elected officials, shoot up schools and churches and anything else you can think of. Maga is the most textbook example of domestic terrorists the US has probably ever seen and they are aided in doing the shit they are doing by our entire government federal, state and local and not punished or even slowed down. Guess you only have rights in this country now if you are a pasty white crackhead from bumfuck terroristville that rapes children.

    3. I’m sure the NRA and 2nd amendment obsessed republicans will protest this…right?

    4. lol the “context” section of the article didn’t mention Philly’s 1985 MOVE bombing. City of brotherly love, unless youre black and want the same rights as white people.

This is so fucked. I will be donating to their lawsuit fund.

Black Panthers represent me as a white dude more than the police because the Black Panthers care about actual freedom and their community’s actual safety.

      All cops are bastards.

Can’t have those upitty blacks bearing arms huh Philly, history repeats itself everyday in the U.S.

2nd amendment warriors… where you at?

We all know why you’re not speaking up about this.

Had it been Proud Boys the NRA would’ve been screaming by now.

I believe the 2A tells them to keep carrying. At least the 2A republicans have been shouting for the 41 years ive been here

    9. Nice_Soil1782 on

This is exactly why I support constitutional carry. Shall not be infringed.

    10. So only racist white people wearing masks and red hats are allowed to carry guns and intimidate people?

    11. secretlypooping on

I am extraordinarily white and very much against guns and pro gun control

but it is so disgusting to see these rights only ever come into question when it’s people of color exercising those rights

      Gil Scott-Heron said it best:

      >Everybody got a pistol

      >Everybody got a .45

      >And the philosophy seem to be

      >At least as near as I can see

      >When other folks give up theirs, I’ll give up mine

Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.

History doesn’t repeat itself but it’s rhymes. The gun rights movement in California suddenly passed assault weapons bans in the 60s when the black panthers started carrying, not before.

    14. This is exactly how CA passed some of the nations most stringent gun-control laws under governor and Ronald Reagan.

    15. They should sue, especially ifvproud boys or right wing groups have guns during protest there

    16. Where are all the 2A gun idiots that say anything and everything is an infringement???

There sure were a lot of them a week ago when an article came out saying stores had to have cameras and report crimes. But my rights….. blah blah…. Where are you now?

    17. Wow, you guys better have a low turn out protest on a weekend about it or something.

    18. D3rpyDriver on

Im all for Black folk arming themselves to deal with the shitshow that is Americas treatment of them. But if this was “The White Panthers” got their gun permit revoked, I think we all would agree with that.

    19. Hey. It’s nearly Identical to what Ronald Fucking Reagan did as governor of California.

    20. Multiple armed white men in the same place = a rally

Multiple armed black men in the same place = police permission to commit murder

      Murica

I wasn’t aware that Philadelphia was capable of superseding the Constitution.

    22. The only reason why California has such strict gun laws was because Black Panthers were conducting armed “cop-watching” patrols. The [Mulford Act](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mulford_Act) was signed by Ronald Reagan that prevented public carrying of loaded firearms without a permit. Surprisingly the Black Panthers were unable to get the permits necessary to carry openly.

    23. Realistic-Nobody-750 on

Interesting, right after that Chud Guy situation. Makes you wonder

    24. So a red flag law? Except less aggressive because you can continue to possess the weapons just not in public?

Doesn’t even dem politician support red flag laws?

    25. Being black and patriotic is illegal unless it’s killing communists for capitalists.

    26. wallyrules75 on

Don’t worry I’m sure the NRA will be racing to protest! Right, there are gun owners in distress!
