    1. These days, in Britain, you get arrested and put in jail for tweeting, these days.

I find it so funny that people think Keir Starmer could be a dictator.

    3. Atlantean_Raccoon on

I’m sorry, but I am not going to take anyone who steals raccoon penises seriously. Besides, on every independent international studies (several are done yearly) on democratic rights, freedoms and protections the UK has always had a better score than the US.

The Americans like to talk big about being free, but in reality they aren’t that great at it.

This is the man that had a parasite removed after it had eaten a portion of his brain. Has confessed to eating Road Kill sometimes raw and once dumped a dead bear cub in Central Park for “reasons”.

He has a tenuous grip on reality at the best of times so its probably best not to read to much into one of his rants.

    5. Spamgrenade on

Check out r/conservative the extremist MAGA there really believe this shit. That’s at least a third of Americans.

    6. He says he’s a health expert, he’s clearly not someone who knows what is going on.

    7. psioniclizard on

Ok but at least we don’t hang out in locker rooms with a ~~meth addict~~ Kid Rock and no shirt.

    8. Dude who has had a bug in his brain, and addicted to who knows what, has opinion about UK when he’s part of the American fascist regime? LOL

    9. Oh look the guy who wants American children to get cirrhosis of the liver from unvaccinated hepatitis B wants to comment on our country.

you need treatment for your brain warm and secondly for your projection-if you can solve this little puzzle I would be surprised, can you make a well-known saying or phrase out of these 2 words, off and ….

    11. karkonthemighty on

As much as I dislike my country being the current target of focus from the US right wing nutjobs, I’d rather the spotlight be on us with their inane accusations than planning an insane invasion of Greenland.

Let’s see, what would be some signs of a dictatorship?

Maybe prosecuting your opponents and using malicious lawsuits to silence them, putting your name and picture all over public buildings, sidestepping laws and legislation to enact policy, going after and defunding media that criticises you, building a big gold ballroom, pushing big companies for ‘donations’, enriching your family and yourself through corrupt means and praising other autocrats.

Who does that sound like, Bob?

It’s depressing because even though everyone here knows it’s nonsense a huge percentage of Joe Rogan fanboys will take this as fact.

How did a do-your-own-research gym bro come to have such a huge voice to then use so irresponsibly?

    15. EnvironmentalShift25 on

ah, a dictatorship where Starmer could be kicked out of office soon but Trump can do whatever he likes no matter how unpopular he is.

    16. PlapPlapInnit on

Wouldn’t ‘dictatorial’ behaviour be something more like if Starmer were to rename public buildings after himself, or build golden statues of himself, or put his image on passports or on currency? There’s outcry at the potential that we might be putting an otter on the new £5 note let alone if it had his image on it…

The alt right (2016 onwards) have shitposted their way into a completely alternate universe to reality

I liked pre covid joe but he’s just a apparatchik for maga fash atm while insisting that he’s a liberal and it’s the left who left.

      It’s so tired

    18. ash_ninetyone on

They have such a weird slant on the UK. They’re eager to paint the UK as a dictatorship, as an enemy to free speech.

Meanwhile the US has done so much democratic backslide by MAGAtising their entire governmental departments, by attacking journalists for daring to ask any question critical of the admin, blockint those journalists from white house press conferences.

Yet apparently we’re a dictatorship while Starmer’s job is under active threat and after Labour lost heavily in local elections.

Funny example of a dictator if you ask me

    19. Open_Delivery_775 on

A dictatorship where you’re free to select from a range of dictators who you can vote out.

      How very British!

    20. ManInGarage28 on

So obvious all these right wing gimps are getting direction from the same source to pump out the same nonsense propaganda over and over again

    21. talesofcrouchandegg on

You mean he’s given himself powers he doesnt actually have, packed the courts with ideological allies against convention, sent armed thugs into cities that didn’t vote for him, literally threatened to be a dictator, imprisoned record numbers without trial, personally enriched himself through the office, engaged in insider trading, and given government contracts to his own family?

      OH WAIT LOL

    22. southwest_barfight on

They also think we’re overrun with knife crime despite the US having a higher rate of knife attacks per capita.

    23. serkovavantgarden on

Have they spoke about people being refused entry into America because of their activity on social media?

I’d like to see these intellectual heavyweights tackle that one

    24. fingerberrywallace on

RFK is literally part of the government that executed people in the street and then lied about what happened despite clear video evidence, tried to get a talk show host taken off air for saying a joke they didn’t like, blocks access for media organisations which are critical of them, and… oh yeah, refused to accept the results of a national election and STILL claim that it was rigged even though they can’t produce a shred of proof.

And Rogan nodding along like the dipshit he is when he helped put those pernicious idiots in the White House. How many times does Jamie have to jump in and point out that he’s fallen for bullshit he read on the internet again before he learns to control his verbal diarrhoea?

    25. Whiskey19August on

We’re literally in the throws of a potential coop within the governing party that if unsuccessful will likely lead to an early general election and the two newer insurgent parties making massive gains and taking the place of the old establishment parties. No we are not a dictatorship you peice of worm eaten teak furniture

    26. throwpayrollaway on

His dad would surely be horrified by how he’s turned out. The end of the Kennedy political legacy is this scary hateful half witted clown.

    27. Roman also claimed that 12,000 people a year get arrested for Twitter posts.

These people aren’t even trying to make their claims believable anymore.

    28. Frequent-Yoghurt3098 on

Was wondering how such a stupid man ever got anywhere in life, let alone politics, but then I thought about those we’ve been afflicted with; Farage, Badenough, Bozo the clown, Sunk, Braverman, Patel, Jonathan Gullis, Dick Tice et al and well, y’know…

    29. ancapailldorcha on

A reminder that RFK Jr went to American Samoa during a Measles outbreak to promote anti-vaxx nonsense. 83 children died.

    30. There was a think banjo player from Mumford & Sons who went on Fox News saying that in the UK people regularly have conversations with their family about what to do if the police show up to their door

Yeah no if you’re having that conversation you’ve probably done something pretty fucked up not the general public
