Will he, won’t he, will he, won’t he.

Just propose it and commit for God’s sake. The level of waffle to concentrate detail is wild

    2. It’s too late, they still can’t even agree on the basics.

This was all a distraction from doing anything about fixing the ETF situation. The Government put blocks in place to make it difficult for ordinary people to invest in ETFs, and instead of getting rid of those blocks they’re working on some convoluted scheme which will generate even more in fees for the financial industry.

Another one to add to the pile of “Simon says (and then does fuck all)”

Well if they went with the swedish model it would mean a drop in house prices. Can’t have that now.

Surely they can just rehash the SSIA with less interest!? We will never fet it that good again.

I think he will demolish deemed disposal and align the tax to cgt. I dont see anything coming in budget on this. Will blame geopolitics

I emailed him to basically say this, stop messing people about – either announce & commit to it or don’t. You’re messing people about otherwise / losing out on compound growth or making alternative investments in property etc. No response as of yet..

This absolute spanner couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery. I’ll believe change will happen when it’s signed and sealed. Until then it’s just more fluff from another career politician spoofer.

They’re trying to delay it as much as possible to have it as a voting boost when it’s needed. They should be held accountable if so.

Charlie Mc Creevy didn’t waffle about the saving scheme back in the day. We all benefited 😂🙂

      Fine gael’s m.o.

kitefly a policy, see if it gets traction. if popular, keep repeating about until forced to legislate for it or drop it and blame it one someone or something else and rinse and repeat

Simon’s M.O is the same as above but involves changing the definition of what he was supposed to do and have it watered down to claim a victory or blame someone or something else for the failure.
