“You might be watching this and wondering: How the fuck is this guy our president?!?” Stewart asked. “How? How is this possible? He should not have this job. And yet… he does.”
“Maybe it’s time to stop being exasperated by this, by Trump,” he said. “And maybe it’s time to see if we can glean lessons from Trump’s rise.”
“And with that, he turned Trump’s career trajectory into mock lessons for recent college grads who are looking for a job. Honesty and hard work are out the window. Instead, Stewart sarcastically noted, grads could follow the president’s lead and be “cocky and super fucking weird” as they lie during job interviews and even insult their questioners.”
“I don’t know why this works. I don’t fucking get it. I don’t,” he said. “But here we are – and here he is. And he’s the president, and I’m on basic cable. I don’t understand!”

How many times has Jon Stewart NOT run for office? That’s why he’s on ‘basic cable and not in office’–he’d be a shoe-in if he actually put his hat in the ring.
I dont believe someone as intelligent as Stewart could actually be stunned by anything this man does at this point. Like if I wake up tomorrow and find out that Trump had a dog fighting ring where he used the winners to determine the strongest breeds so he *could* breed them only to then turn around and fuck the puppies himself I would let out an audible sigh and that’s about it.

Mostly because we are “too busy with work” to go show up in DC and demand a change. If 3% of the population showed up, we would have a new President. People say they can’t afford to go…. They can’t afford not to.
The take over is a con and Trump was the perfect fall guy . He did not “win” anything.
