I am travelling to Spain, Barcelona , Seville , Ibiza & Madrid to be precise.
I’ve been to Europe before but never on this circuit and was looking for people who live there or have been there or are travelling there as well for any things to keep in mind and hidden gems / Takeaways from their personal experiences.
I’m a photographer and entrepreneur and if you’re travelling there during the same time or live there and wanna catch up

Is more difficult to explain, but pyrinees is beautiful too
From my point of view, if You like to photograh natural places You are going to the wrong places.
Each city You pick has monuments and a lot of beauty but they are cities…
The “rural” and the natural parks we have Will have more green. If You are only going to these cities and want some Woods, views, I would go to nearest ‘sierras’ of those particular sites.
You could look for the “pueblos más bonitos de España” (Most beautiful villeage of Spain) on Google and see if there are some near od your travelling places.
Also the coast (specially on all the north IS astonishing).
I only say that for the photos you put.
About the cities You pick on Google there’s a lot of information and on the “oficina de turismo” of every town. I recommend always to visit those.
Sorry for my english. You Will enjoy the country, don’t miss the food, IS incredible.
If by the time you get to Madrid you feel like getting away and seeing something really original and off the beaten path I’d recommend a day trip to one of the Pueblos Negros in Guadalajara. The Arquitectura Negra is something unique and not many even here in Spain are aware of it. Someone posted some pictures recently also on this sub. https://www.reddit.com/r/spain/s/kkiMe68qTG

In Barcelona you can walk from the parque del Guinardo, keep going uphill and then bear to the left. You will come to a foot bridge and eventually come around the back of park Guell (it used to be free but now you can just skirt the outside if you don’t have a ticket) . From there I used to drop down through Gracia back into the city centre. Takes a couple of hours walking but you have the best view across the whole city. Happy trails!
Barcelona sucks besides Sagrida familia. If you want a unique Spain trip maybe scratch all the tourist destinations and try San Sebastián, Cartagena, Almeria, Bilbao, and other secondary cities and locales like Asturias and Galicia. The way I look at is it’s Spain, you can’t go wrong.
If you want to see any star you better stay away from the cities.
If you’re looking for unique things to do and judging by the photos you like nature and stuff – you are going to all the wrong places
I spent a month traveling around Spain over the summer, lovely country. I travelled exclusively by train so my experience is limited to connected cities. Barcelona is gorgeous, very picturesque, chill vibe, great walking. Bilboa looks like a modern fairytale with the Guggenheim on the river, striking bridges and the commuter train that looks like it floats on the grass. So many amazing places really. I think my favorite was Tarragona. The old town with the narrow alleys, ruins from many eras around every corner and the roman amphitheater on the beach. Enchanting days floating in the mediterranean looking up at the city.
Enjoy, it’s a beautiful and diverse country.
San sebastian and valencia are the hidden gems
From Seville you can go to Grazalema natural park. It’s between Seville and Cádiz. The Pinsapar is a very old forest out of a Ghibli movie.
Just don’t
Cáceres is the hidden gem even for Spanish people.
Enjoy! Immerse yourself in Spanish culture.
