Did you know your internet contract with POST, Orange, or Tango locks you in for 24 months? If you cancel early, the provider charges you the full remaining months. On a €60/month plan, cancelling on day one costs ~€1,440 plus other fees.

As a Belgian who likes to hate on my birth country, it’s rare to see us do something right
The companies lobbied and probably paid some politicians off to get us one of EUs worst possible deals. A good example of corruption in Luxembourg. Don’t be naive and believe the politicians involved didn’t get anything in return.
👍🏻 done
I called once LOL to ask why my internet was slow, and they said it was an issue on their side, and that he will fix it. I was already living there for 3 years and only realised that I get half of what the contract was supposed to give me. What the operator actually did was to bump my contract as if i just restarted it, so 6 months later when i was moving out, i learn about it. I just did not pay 🤷🏻
It is once again the lobbying and monopoly of Luxembourg. This way of working is spread across the country and it backfires . I am sure a decent financial crisis will end up this non sense way of working. Adding my personal experience with car insurances where i could only cancel at certain time of the year. I sold my car and i still had to pay them ( Foyer).
