      Hey Carney, wait till you hear about how actual Palestinians are treated! I swear every time he opens his mouth on the subject he just makes himself look stupid and uninformed. Like hes correct here, it is abominable, but like you’re just figuring this out now? Its not as if we don’t have literal video evidence of numerous abhorrent crimes Israel is committing. Like the soldiers have been told on the regular (but still do it) to stop recording and posting their war crimes

      The way Itamar Ben-Gvir revels in the mistreatment of these civilians is inhuman. He wouldn’t be acting so high and mighty if he weren’t hiding behind all those IDF soldiers. This behaviour is just evil and all condemnation coming his way is genuinely justified. No grey areas.

      Now imagine how innocent Palestinians are treated by others just like Ben-Gvir, with no cameras to record it?

      I think most Western governments are well behind where their voters have moved on the issue of Israel and haven’t woken up to it yet. 

      At the beginning of the war there was a lot of public sentiment that Israel was defending itself etc, but with their absolutely abhorrent behaviour since then, and their blatant psychotic warmongering over Iran (it’s well known that internally, many senior Israeli politicians consider Iran becoming a totally failed state as an acceptable outcome), that isn’t the dominant view anymore.  They’ve burned through that goodwill remarkably fast and the argument that they’re part of the liberal democracy club so should be protected no longer holds much water. 

      The Israeli government doesn’t care about working with its non-US western allies *at all* and as far as I’m concerned we should be cutting them loose now. It’s time to treat them the way we treated apartheid South Africa.
