Minor Issues

"Pustaz" is a misspelling of the Puszta grasslands in Hungary.

Generalization: Like most simplified maps, it omits smaller grassland regions (such as those in California or parts of the Mediterranean) to maintain clarity.

Verdict: It is a reliable resource for a general geographic understanding, provided you account for the "Puszta" typo.

The Campo or Campos may be seen as geographical error. It's actual location is said to be a biome called Cerrado instead and not Campos.

You also might want to throw in the Al-Jazira of upper Mesopotamia and southern Anatolia.

The brazilian “savannah” is the Cerrado.

The best description for the marked area in the Northeast is a semi-desert xeric shrubland, known as the Caatinga, and I can say that because I live in the coastal areas of that region.

      No grasslands here, folks.

Edit: The southwest of that region is already cerrado, but a large part of the marked area is caatinga.

    4. OP’s mind right before prelims: YK what?? this map will do great on r/mapporn

Maybe I’m being too picky, but seems like the prairie area is covering half of the Rocky Mountains and the steppe is covering all of the Caucasus Mountains.

    6. Isn’t steppe simply another word for grassland plains? They is no steppe called Steppes, according to Wikipedia it’s called Eurasian Steppe, Great Steppe or The Steppe.

I’m pretty sure that a big part of this african savannah is a rainforest

That “pustaz” of yours is certainly not spreading through all of Serbia and into Northern Macedonia, as per that silly map. Yes, there is Eastern Serbia which is sadly turning into a steppe. But not all of Serbia.

Most of that grassland in the US has been destroyed and replaced with farmland.

This map is wrong is so may ways, like why is Lake Winnipeg in Saskatchewan and why is the North American prairie covering the rocky mountains.
