    1. For France at least it is only the ones classified as “autoroutes” but some other roads are 2×2 lanes with 110km/h as speed limit it’s basically the same.

    2. So what exactly is a motorway? By the Cambridge dictionary’s definition

      >a wide road for fast-moving traffic, with a limited number of places at which drivers can enter and leave it

many German Bundesstraßen (federal roads) would fit that description, and they are not on this map.

    3. I wonder how long Polish and German wolves studied this map before they in 2012 made their way to and resettled in Denmark.

Romania is still struggling with the two motorways that would link Bucharest to Western Europe while railways are degrading as we speak.

For Latvia, most 100/110 motorways are seasonal – the speed limit is dropped to 90 during cold season.

    6. Sweden has a motorway (E4) that goes all along the east coast from Stockholm to the Finnish border. The map is incorrect.

The UK is missing a few that other countries class as motorways/equivalent on here

    8. what road is the dot in Latvia? I always thought that Lithuania was the only Baltic state with motorways and Estonia and Latvia didn’t have any

    9. What’s with the circular around Paris? French really don’t want to go anywhere close to parisians? The dots are also funny. The fuck is even the point of making couple km?

Baltia drives like there are motorways, so 4 cars side-by-side on 2-lane roads.

That east Finland motorway to Russia was completed in 2019… The timing was not the best I can tell you.

Slovakia really sucks North-Southwise. Very underdeveloped. Maybe after Fico is gone?
