    1. I think that would be nice.

      It would be like Korea “paying it forward” after receiving help from the Americans and Japanese to get their semiconductor industry started.

    2. I just don’t know what Vietnam could offer for Korea to benefit long-term, given semis are like a third of its exports

    3. We have a debt to pay for the war crimes during the Vietnam War. We were also able to kickstart infrastructure projects with the money we earned from the US for participating in the war.

      Wouldn’t mind cooperating in semiconductor packaging and providing tech transfer in the form of academic research.
