I wonder how a separation vote would go in Minnesota after the admin sanctioned the execution of a resident through ICE? How would a California separation vote go?- Albertan separatists dream of Ottawa doing something akin to Trump sending in the US Military to Californian cities. Would Oregon and Washington residents be amenable to a united Cascadia with BC?
There is a clear imbalance in military power, of course, but the Trump admin oughtn’t throw stones in a glass house — the US is closer to Balkanizing now than any time post-WWII.

In other news, water is wet. This has been known for a while. If Trump wasn’t so harsh on Trudeau, Poilievre may have likely helped turn Canada in the U.S. 51st State. Even today, the U.S. sent officials to Greenland to lobby support for Greenland to be the 51st or 52nd state. Putin is certainly getting much of what he wants these days.
