The coins covered in Arabic are Saudi halalas, from around the ’70s to the turn of the century.
Fire them into those collection pots at the airport. Do they even have them anymore?

The old 2 pence coins work in Aldi & Lidl shopping trolleys.
The five deutsch mark coin was the same size as a punt coin, which was very handy for smokers visiting Germany back in the day, i.e. cheap fags from street cigarette vending machines.
