    1. Tasmania looks perfect to me.

Just need to know if there is also deadly animals over there.

    2. Three specific areas in the USA and then “India” lumped as one climate…

      Bruh

What do you mean by ‘india’ it has arid, semi arid , savanna , steppe, rain forest and alpine climates. Which do you mean?

Why not upload with full quality?

South Africa and India are not the climate analogues this map implies them to be. Wikipedia lists India having 23 different climate zones according to Köppen-Geiger classification. While South Africa has 17.

    5. This map was made by someone who has never been to any of those places or Australia.

      “India”

Better to just cover the whole map in red and call it “Australia” considering how diverse the climate in India is.

Can’t be r/MapPorn if it was accurate.

The Indian subcontinent has 10 different climate zones according to Geography4u. So how can Northern Wallabya have ‘the Indian climate’?

This is one of the most stupid things I have ever seen on the internet. Congratulations.

I didn’t realise California had such a crappy climate. From the media representation cali should be northern nsw south qld.

Very interesting concept, would love to see a more refined/accurate version. Most egregious error based on places I’ve been: Delhi appears to be in the Great Sandy Desert, which is extremely harsh country. I’m also pretty suspicious of Eastern Tassie being labelled Southern Chile, but I haven’t been to Chile so I don’t know what it’s like.

Adelaide, SA which famously has a Mediterranean climate listed as San Francisco

Perth is not like LA. Its the desert during summer and then Seattle during winter.

I live in Adelaide South Australia and been to Cape Town. Genuinely the weather felt exactly the same, thought I was back in Adelaide.
Also – LA is similar to Adelaide Temp also

    14. This map is fucking shit. You got specific states of the US, but apparently South Africa is small enough to have just one climate? Not even talking about mfing India😂😂

Cairns as Miami? Cairns is far more hot and humid than Miami. Probably more similar to cancun

More proof there is plenty to see in our own country… but without traveling to see then it could be wrong.

Sydney’s weather is more like San Fransisco’s. Melbourne is nothing like San Fransisco with its weather. Going off this alone I call bullshit on the rest of it too.

I grew up in South Africa and live in Sydney can confirm the weather isn’t the same , Sydney area is way way wetter than Gauteng
