“The woman sent a complaint to their employer, and he remained quiet for about two months until she heard him in the canteen saying to others, “Be careful what you say or you’ll get reported”.”
Shocking to deal with this carry on still but then report it and met with silence and victim blaming. Sometimes I feel that little progress has been made in regards to sexual harassment in the workplace.

8 prior convictions, constantly making jokes about a colleague blowing him, and yet his wife is still with him.
Beyond embarrassed for her and their children. What a horrible prick that guy must be. Probably thinks he’s the fucking business but nobody in his life can stand being around him.

Pillory. Balls of his own shite comes to mind. Active public shaming is the only thing to discourage creeps like this.

What a skobie, she needs to come for the company now. Absolutely no way that’s anywhere near the minimum deemed acceptable

Jaysus, what an out and out scumbag.
How in the hell did any company let this carry on to this extent though?

Brilliant, we’ll still be paying for his housing. Just lock the cunt up and have him deal with the consequences of his behaviour.

“a relic of the past with no place in polite society” – am not sure I like this irrelevant jab at old Ireland, when would this ever have been acceptable?
A relic of the past – if something’s a relic then that means you can see it but it’s from the past, right? Where can we see that this was ever part of Ireland? In the distant past most people tended to be highly religious and sexual prudes. A man talking like that would have been largely shunned and her brother wouldn’t be talking to him, he would be kicking the shit out of him. So what’s this judge talking about?

The man involved is now jobless, according to the article. His actions will hopefully now make him unemployable. Good enough for him. If only he could be named.

Interested in why the employer isn’t also in hot water over this behaviour. Surely the employer has a duty of care? With many employers, the letter of complaint would have been enough to trigger a full inquiry, which would have resulted in his rapid dismissal, given all the corroborating evidence.

There’s about 5 things should of happened before she got to a point where she had to go to the guards. The colleagues should of told him to shut the fuck up. She should of poured coffee all over lap. He should of got a slap off the brother. But most of all the employer should of fucking riddled him. Is this not gross misconduct

Some people just have zero self control, I remember working with a lad who’d constantly make sexual jokes about female staff in front of them.
It would go something like this:
“I was looking for you where were ya ?”
“Ah I was just shagging Louise in the back room, she’s got a great arse”
And imagine that sort of thing on a daily basis trying to force the sexual jokes non stop with multiple female staff hearing it.
You’d cringe yourself to death just listening.

You know what actually sucks? Probably not one of those male colleagues in the canteen stood up for her and told the guy to stfu and cop on.
