      Europe and the world should be very careful in supporting this student movement. It is not jus an anti-corruption, or an anti-autocracy movement, it is a movement with strong nationalistic tones that threatens the stability of an already fragile Balkan region. They published their memorandum on Kosovo and it is pure nationalistic propaganda. They showed they are just as extreme as Milosevic. Be very careful or you risk supporting the future generation of warmongers.

      I feel like there are constant protests yet nothing seems to be changing. How high is the chance that the government and Vučić will collapse?

      The students have been asking for snap parliamentary elections since may 5th 2025. The government has refused to accept that because of low aproval ratings and high mobilisation among the opposition, which is now united by the Student list, a list of professors and academics chosen by the student movement to challenge the ruling regime in the upcoming elections.

      This is all great for moral, but EU support would make this ten times easier, even though EU is hypocritical (of course) and supports Vučić but opposes Orban.

      Sadly the EU loves vucic and nothing significant will happen. No way vucic can do what he has been doing for 10 yrs without support from important people inside the EU

      Not so long time ago, we Hungarians also believed that our corrupt, Russian-puppet dictator was unremovable and that his power was limitless, but it turned out that the king was naked, and if enough people stand up, the regime can be overthrown!
