      I’m assuming they’re testing interactions with LLMs? I’m sure some games will use AI in good ways in the future but the line between this and slop can be thin if you don’t rigorously control everything.

      Ubisoft needs to let another studio have a crack at one or more of their IPs. They’re clearly stretched thin and cannot figure out what their customers want. Let Arkane make a Far Cry spinoff.

      This bullshit is annoying. People make hour long reviews on games like far cry. Do the legwork listen to the fans. The ai shit is such trash

      When AI was on the rise I’ll admit that I was kinda optimistic for it’s use to make NPCs feel for dynamic and less scripted/on rails (especially for RPGs) but now that it’s being used to vibe code and procedurally generated maps (almost always poorly) I just hate what it’s doing to the industry.

      You’d think after the hundredth time the AI art came out as shit companies would connect the 2 brain cells they have left and realize AI isn’t at the level they think it is

      Then again if I screw up I don’t get paid but they still get their multimillion dollar bonus

      I wish they would just dissolve already and sell the IP off to people who arent collecting them like pokemon just for fuckin share value.

      Ubisoft’s biggest problem is that their games felt like the same shit copy and pasted over and over again. Don’t think AI is going to fix that.

      They’ve turned Farcry into pure slop at this point, so it’s a very fitting game to test it on. It’s just a matter of how many millions are they going to waste before finding out what everyone else already knows. At this point the Farcry games are all the exact same formula after 3 that you could algorithmically generate the entire plot.
